CV Summit &12th EPCCS Annual Scientific meeting

The EPCCS CV Summit & 12th Annual EPCCS Scientific is an educational opportunity for those working in primary care with an interest in cardiovascular disease, the single most important disease presenting to primary care physicians. It is the only European conference specifically aimed at primary care with a single focus on cardiovascular disease. Benefit from updates, reviews, and debates at this international forum, which addresses issues and challenges that primary care professionals face in daily practice

Annual EPCCS CV Summit for Primary Care

The CV Summit for Primary Care provides updates, consensus and guidance towards European primary care professionals. Primary care professionals with a special interest in cardiovascular disease are invited as participants to the meeting to have an active role in discussions, aimed to reach consensus on guidance in clinical practice.

As a participant in this international forum you will benefit from updates, reviews, and debates, which addresses issues and challenges that primary care professionals face in daily practice. The programme will review the latest research and clinical data, evaluate the implications of these developments for improved patient care, discuss the latest guidelines and exchange experience and best practices.

As output and follow-up of the CV Summit for Primary Care, the EPCCS will provide video updates with leading experts and consensus reports, all to become available on ipccs.org and shared with the EPCCS member database. As important step, the participants of the CV Summit for Primary Care will share the outcomes of the meeting with colleagues in their country, and thereby ensuring real impact in European primary care in multiple countries. As a health care professional involved in the management of cardiovascular patients in primary care, this CV Summit for Primary Care is an educational programme you cannot miss.

Call for abstracts

The EPCCS invites those active in cardiovascular research in primary care to submit an abstract. Prizes will be awarded for best poster and abstract presenter.

Organize the abstract (format A4) as follows; Title, Authors & Affiliations, Rationale, Methods & Results, Conclusion, Clinical Relevance.

Submit before January 30, 2020, by sending your abstract to info@medconinternational.com

Educational programme 2020

The summit will cover major issues in a sessional debate format with focused clinical update talks. The main debate sessions will present the most up to date evidence on a range of key cardiovascular topics and what this means for clinical primary care practice, concluding with what evidence should be implemented, where uncertainties remain, and how we should deal with this.

Outputs from EPCCS 2020 will become key points on our website, with video sessions, free-standing papers, and guidance documents, translated where possible. The main output will be an EPCCS Value evidence Into Practice (VIP) reference guide for each topic presented at the Summit
