The sixth EPCCS Council meeting will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on March 19, 2020, an initiative of the European Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (EPCCS).
The 12th Annual Cardiovascular Summit for Primary Care, of EPCCS scheduled on March 19-20, 2020 in Prague, Czech Republic, will be changed in format. There will be no educational sessions this year.
Instead only the EPCCS Council meeting will be scheduled on Thursday afternoon March 19, 2020 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The format of educational programme (lectures and abstracts) will be evaluated and discussed during this meeting and most probably postponed to a future date
- As it is high value and important for the EPCCS to engage with interested cardiovascular primary care physicians, registered attendees are welcome to be part of the discussions.Future planning includes the planning of more practical guidance documents and online learning.
- The EPCCS Council is aimed to serve as an important group to connect the EPCCS board with GP’s in different countries, and expand activities of EPCCS. The participants will provide input to EPCCS regarding issues and challenges GP's face with managing CVD in their countries. Participants of the EPCCS Council agreed to share the outcomes of the meeting with colleagues in their country, and thereby ensuring real impact in European primary care in multiple countries.
- The EPCCS Council now consist of representatives from: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom.
- Our goal is to establish a Council with 20-25 countries with 1-3 representatives per country to ensure a real impact on European Cardiovascular Primary care

No right to waiving of fees or further claims will be possible should the EPCCS have to modify the programme of the summit.
In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, the European Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (EPCCS) is entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the summit. Delegates are not entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.
Please be advised that a personal travel insurance is not included in your registration. The EPCCS would like to advise you to check and arrange your personal travel insurance before your departure to Prague.
